The box top is a 100-year-old Black Walnut, and the box is Poplar with a distinctive stripe and a soft green tinge and the very bottom is in pine

A real nice box that would accent any table and hold your keepsakes, pens, pencils, jewelry or even maybe a favorite pipe.
