Collection: Elizabeth Wood: Photography

Ever hear about those people that get up before the crack of dawn to get photos of sunrises or sage grouse? What about those people that willingly drive on hundreds of miles of county roads just to get one good photo of a wildflower?

That’s Elizabeth Wood.

Elizabeth’s photographic interests are as varied as the landscape of the West. Whether it’s abandoned vehicles or wildlife, ghost towns or breathtaking vistas, Elizabeth centers them within her camera lens. Though she grew up in the mid-western state of Iowa, her love of the West is ever present in her photos, giving people insight into how she views what has become her home state.

A lot of luck and no small amount of skill gets Elizabeth the exact photo that she is looking for, even if she may not know it at the time. It is through her photos that one can truly see the beauty that is present throughout the West.
