Collection: Elizabeth Rulli: Glass and Trivets

Elizabeth "Beth" Rulli currently lives in Cheyenne, WY.  She moved to Wyoming 40 years ago and considers herself a “city dweller.” She moved around a lot in her younger life, and it has amazed her that she and her husband, two dogs, and daughter have set down roots in Wyoming.

Past Artist of the Month

Beth has many artistic interests and focuses on her recycled, salvaged glass pieces and ceramic tiles. She is inspired by cave paintings, quilting styles, and too many things to list. When she was 11 years old her father was stationed in France, and in 6th and 7th grade, she viewed the stained glass windows of Chartres Cathedral.  She fell in love with stained glass! She took her first stained glass class in 1977, and in 1992 she learned how to paint and fire glass. She quit her job of 25 years as a librarian and has been working with her art ever since.

Beth works in her studio in Cheyenne, a little shotgun cottage that is 110 years old.
