Alberto started herding in Peru at the age of 12 and has worked on ranches in Peru and the United States for many years.  In his fifties Alberto started his art career working with fiber art and photography.

Alberto's work has been featured in galleries and shows in Wyoming and Colorado. Alberto states that his life has been spent living in the natural world with its wild and free animals. He strives to catch the essence of this world in his artwork, and each piece is one-of-a-kind
