The tidal flats of Central Oregon is a place that I go every chance I get.  Unlike the dry air pace that a Wyoming plein air watercolorist must use to paint, I find it quite a challenge to plein air paint on the coastal Oregon because there is so much humidity in the air!  A very early morning in May on Ona Beach is where I took the photo that I used for this original watercolor
