French Style Wood Turned Rolling Pin

French rolling pin is tapered at the ends 

When looking at the pin from the end you will see two light maple layers and one dark walnut layer

This item was " Pinned " with two walnut dowels in the body of the rolling pin

19" long

1 7/8" at the widest tapering to 1 1/4" at the end 

These rolling pins are great for those with arthritis in their hands and wrists

French style rolling pins are tapered at each end. The French style pin is said to give the baker better control and feeling when rolling out dough.  Although I prefer a longer pin, these pins have been trimmed to about 19" long so they will fit in most standard kitchen cabinet drawers.  Each one is hand turned on a lathe by eye, no two are exactly the same
