This small branch caught my attention every morning as I walked my oldest child to school in the fall. Each day, the chlorophyll drained bit by bit towards the end of the branch, and I was waiting until it would hit the perfect stage. Finally, the day came, and I sat on the sidewalk to get the best angle I could (luckily these were understanding neighbors!).
