It took multiple coats of dye to achieve a uniform appearance and the desired red\/brown color. The purse was then customized with hand painted indian paintbrush flowers using specialized leather paints. The purse was then entirely coated with a protective sealant that locks in the dye, preventing color transfer to clothing, and ensures a long-lasting durability of the flower design.
