She is currently studying Zoology at the University of Wyoming, where her passion for animals continues to influence her artistic work. Maria has completed one photography course at Western Wyoming Community College, but the majority of her skills have been developed through self-teaching, hands-on experience, and countless hours spent photographing the natural world. Her work focuses on capturing authentic moments in wildlife and showcasing the beauty of the landscapes that surround her. In recognition of her work, two of her photographs were selected for the Western Spirit Juried Art Show. I am especially drawn to wildlife and nature because they offer honest, unscripted moments that can’t be recreated. Rather than forcing a scene, I prefer to observe patiently and let the subject reveal itself naturally.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWhen creating photographs, I focus on composition, lighting, and timing to tell a story through a single image. Whether I’m photographing a bird in flight, an animal in its habitat, or the details of a landscape, I aim to create images that encourage viewers to slow down and appreciate the world around them.
