Born and raised in California, I lived in the South and the Midwest before discovering that Wyoming was my true home. I now live in Laramie.
My first serious foray into photography came in 2010, when I took a course from Aric Attas, a gifted photographer and inspirational teacher. I soon discovered that I loved to capture patterns and textures, colors and form with my camera. Abstraction remains my primary emphasis, but I enjoy making many other kinds of images as well.
My mantra as a photographer comes from poet Mary Oliver: "Pay attention. Be amazed. Tell about it."
